Colorado needs a flat sales tax

Colorado should implement a flat across the board sales tax. Everyone pays the same no matter what city or county they happen to be in. There is no stacking of county taxes on top of city taxes. No benefit to live in the county rather than a city.
You shop or buy a house or car in a city then they get that sales tax. The county doesn’t get a cent. You shop in the county then they get the money. This way there are no underfunded jurisdictions.
The state should then eliminate state income tax altogether. Washington, Texas and Florida have no income tax and yet they have no budgetary funding issues. When people keep more of their own money they go out and spend it.
And believe it or not rich people spend more too. They buy more expensive homes and cars and clothes. They go out to eat more. Everyone has more money to spend which generates more in sales tax revenue.
