Attention, drivers. When at an intersection you are to stop at the thick solid white line just before the crosswalk. You do not stop at the crosswalk, and certainly not on the crosswalk, and definitely not past the crosswalk. That white line is not arbitrarily placed, believe it or not. It is where it is for a reason. That reason is to allow larger left turning vehicles (such as buses, trucks with trailers, etc) to navigate safely through the turn onto a narrower road. When you stop past that line you are not only blocking the free flow of traffic but also placing your vehicle in danger of being hit. And it will be you not them that are held liable.
